Choosing a display case for 1:6 figures
Measure the figure on its base, at its widest pose, and leave air on every side. Then compare with the inside size of the case, not the outside. The VESPERA Hero is 250 × 250 mm inside, with about 340 mm clear height. Many 1:6 figures stand within that. Wide capes, wings, raised weapons and large diorama bases may not.
What 1:6 means
A 1:6 figure is one sixth of life size. A character 1.8 m tall becomes 30 cm. The base adds more. Hot Toys and Sideshow make many of their figures at this scale.
1:4 figures are larger. The same character becomes 45 cm, taller than the Hero's clear height of about 340 mm. They need a made to measure case.
Anime figures at 1:7 or 1:8 are usually shorter than 1:6. They leave more air in the Hero.
Measure in five steps
- Stand the figure on its base, posed as you will keep it.
- Height: from the bottom of the base to the highest point, a raised hand, a weapon, a wing tip.
- Width and depth: at the widest points, capes and weapons included.
- Leave air around it, so nothing touches the glass.
- Compare with the inside size: 250 mm wide, 250 mm deep and about 340 mm clear height for the Hero.
The Hero, plainly
The VESPERA Hero is 4 mm low-iron glass: five panels, overlapped corners, polished edges, joined with a thin clear line of silicone. The lid sits down into a groove in a matte black base, which helps keep dust out. Inside 250 × 250 mm, with about 340 mm clear height above the felt floor. Outside 258 × 258 × 354 mm. The figure is not included. First stock is planned for mid-November 2026.
Where time forgets to move
The Slim, a narrower case, comes later. Sizes to be confirmed.
